Department for Teachers Education (DTP) is reorganized and renamed (transformation of the Institute of Psycho-Pedagogical Training and Counselling (IPPC), within which operated the Department of Psycho-Pedagogical training (DPP), following the decision of the Senate in 22.09.2015, according to the university charter, of the Education Law no. 1/ 2011 art 128. 132. 133, 134 and O.M. 5745 /13.09.2012 and G.E.O. 49/2014, the ARACIS standards specific to the Commission 5 – approved Administrative Sciences, Education, and psychology, which enter into force since 01.10.2015, also including the following:

  1. Center for Permanent Education (CPE)
  2. Center for Recognition, Information, Documentation (CRID)
  3. Center for Intercultural studies and Research (CISR)

The duties and functioning of the DTP and of its components are directed by regulations and methodologies approved by the University Senate.

 

SENATE

The governing bodies of “George Enescu” National University of Arts Iasi are eligible and are confirmed by the Senate. Also, the instructive-educational, artistic, scientific, and financial leadership of the University is carried out by the Senate.

The Senate consists of representatives of teachers and students elected for a period of 4 years by each faculty. The representation of the academic community is proportional to ensure decision-making efficiency both at the level of the faculties and at the levels of teaching. The students represent 25% of the number of members.

 

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Between the meetings of the Senate, the operative leadership of the University is provided by the Board of Directors, composed of: Rector, Vice-rectors, Deans of faculties, the Director of the DTP, General-Administrative Director, and a representative of the students.

At the meetings of the Board of Directors can be invited: the Financial-accounting Director, President of Senate, CSUD Director, teachers, representatives of trade Union and student organizations, heads of institutions, whose presence is useful.

 

FACULTY COUNCIL

is composed of Dean (as President), Vice-deans, Directors of the departments and elected representatives of each specialization, teachers, and students.
Between the meetings of the faculty Council, the management is provided by Faculty Council Bureau, composed of: Dean, Vice-deans, Heads of Departments. Representatives of the students are invited whenever problems related to students are discussed.
