Iro Katsaridou<\/strong> is an art historian and museum studies scholar, Assistant Professor at the School of Visual and Applied Arts, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. Previously she has been director of the MOMus-Thessaloniki Museum of Photography (2021-2024), and curator at the Museum of Byzantine Culture of Thessaloniki (2005-2021).<\/p>\n

She has curated exhibitions of historical and contemporary photography, coordinated the international photography festival Thessaloniki PhotoBiennale 2023 at MOMus, and was a member of the Organizing Committee for the 5th Fast Forward Women in Photography conference (Thessaloniki, May 2024). Currently she serves as a Co-Investigator in the UK\u2019s Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) funded \u201cMuseum Dialogues\u201d program (2004-2025) of the University of Sunderland.<\/p>\n

Iro has published on photography, socially engaged art history, and curatorial practices. Recently, she co-edited with Eve Kalyva and Pamela Bianchi the collective volume Museums and Entrepreneurship.
