Limited to maximum 10 active participants, the masterclass guarantees each participant 60 minutes of orchestra podium exposure, including public performance, in addition to 60 minutes of conducting practicum with piano duo and extensive score study. The course provides a great opportunity to not only work with an orchestra and teacher, but also to produce professional-quality videos, in rehearsal and concert. The program will be able to accommodate aspiring and practicing conductors at all stages of experience.<\/p>\n<p><strong>LOCATION:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The medieval city of Ia\u0219i is a major cultural center of Romania. Situated 400 km north-east of Bucharest, the city is the fourth most populous city in Romania, a central transportation hub, and a popular tourist destination in Europe.<\/p>\n<p><strong>REPERTOIRE:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Haydn \u2013 Symphony nr. 104 in D dur<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> Mozart \u2013 Piano Concerto nr. 23 in A dur<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> Mozart (C. F. Abel) \u2013 Symphony nr. 3 in Es dur<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Participants will have the opportunity to rehearse any part of the program. Maestro Dumitru Goia will make final assignments for the performance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SCHEDULE:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>25<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0of June, 2023 \u2013 Arrival in Ia\u0219i, Romania;<\/li>\n<li>26<sup>th<\/sup>, 27<sup>th<\/sup>, 28th of June, 2023 \u2013 Piano Sessions and Score Study: daily 4-hr sessions with piano duo; additional score study and optional technique sessions;<\/li>\n<li>29<sup>th<\/sup>, 30<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0of June, 1<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0of July, 2023- Orchestra Sessions: daily 4-hr sessions with orchestra;<\/li>\n<li>2<sup>nd<\/sup>\u00a0of July, 2023 \u2013 Dress Rehearsal and Concert: All participants will receive video and audio recordings (raw or edited) from front and back, as well as a large publicity poster.<\/li>\n<li>3<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0of July, 2023 \u2013 Departure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>COST:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The cost includes all tuition and professional recording fees.<\/p>\n<p>All Masterclass participants are responsible for their own transportation, accommodation and meals.<\/p>\n<p>Application, Tuition &amp; Recording \u2013 500\u20ac<\/p>\n<p>Passive Participant Tuition \u201325\u20ac, due upon arrival.<\/p>\n<p>A deposit of 100\u20ac is due by 9<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0of June, 2023.
